I've been watching the obscure sitcom, Newsradio, about, well, an office for news radio.
I'm not gonna lie, it's obscure for a reason. There's better sitcoms out there even in the 90s.
It has a lot of good actors (and Joe Rogan). Hell, Dave Foley was great in Kids in the Hall & was good here.
But even with that said, Bill McNeal's character stands out. He's played by Phill Hartman and he sells the arrogant news guy schtick.
His character also has a bit of a rivalry with Catherine (played by Khandi Alexander).
Unfortunately, the actor passed away & couldn't be in the last 2 seasons.
Another highlight is Stephen Roots' portrayal of Jimmy James, a greedy ultrarich CEO with a heart of gold.
